Does Consistency Equal Fairness?

In my head coaching interview in 2007, I was asked if: “Consistency Equals Fairness?”. In all the years since this question has stuck with me as the best question I’ve ever been asked in a coaching interview. My answer that is similar to what it would be today that consistent treatment is as fair as you can be in a group situation.
